King Sejong the Great was the fourth king of the Joseon dynasty, who ruled from 1418 to 1450. He is widely considered the greatest king in Korean history.
세종대왕은 1418년부터 1450년까지 다스린 조선의 네 번째 왕이에요. 한국 역사상 가장 위대한 왕으로 널리 여겨지고 있어요.
💡 Fun fact
Hangul was designed so scientifically that a new learner can begin reading it in just a few hours — King Sejong wanted it to be that easy on purpose.
한글은 처음 배우는 사람도 몇 시간 만에 읽기 시작할 수 있을 만큼 과학적으로 설계되었어요. 세종대왕이 일부러 그렇게 쉽게 만들었기 때문이에요.
