Hammurabi was a king of Babylon, in the land we now call Iraq, around 1754 BCE. He ruled for about 42 years and made his kingdom very strong.
함무라비는 기원전 약 1754년에 바빌론의 왕이었어요. 지금의 이라크 지역에 해당하는 곳을 약 42년 동안 다스렸어요.
💡 Fun fact
The Code of Hammurabi has 282 laws, and some of them are about things like the price of hiring a boat or how to return a lost slave — very detailed for ancient times!
