Ahn Jung-geun cut off the tip of his left ring finger as a pledge of dedication to the independence movement, and he signed his name with that hand on many of his calligraphy works.

안중근은 독립운동에 대한 헌신의 서약으로 왼손 약지 끝마디를 잘랐으며, 그 손으로 많은 서예 작품에 서명을 남겼어요.
