인공지능 새 이름이 슬로베니아 도메인 대박 만들었다

Did you know that two letters can cause big business? A new name for artificial intelligence has created an unusual problem for a small country.

Every website has an address. Some addresses end with two letters. These letters show where a website comes from. For example, websites from Korea end with .kr. Websites from the United States end with .us. Slovenia is a small country in Europe. Websites from Slovenia end with .si.

Now, someone important wanted to change the name of artificial intelligence. Instead of "AI," the name would be "SI." SI stands for "super intelligence." This is a new idea for how people should think about this technology.

What happened next was surprising. Many people and companies wanted to buy websites with .si addresses. They thought these websites could be for this new technology called SI. The website sellers in Slovenia became very busy. They said this was unprecedented. That means nothing like this had happened before.

The two letters .si and SI sound the same. But they mean different things. One is a country code. One is a new name for technology. Still, people saw an opportunity. They wanted to buy these web addresses before other people could.

This story shows something interesting. Sometimes small things create big changes. Two letters from a country became popular around the world. A small European nation became part of a global conversation about technology.

Do you think this is funny? Or do you think it was smart business? What would you do if you owned a website address business?
