소 떼를 잃은 낙농가, 노래로 새 인생 시작하다

Imagine losing your job, your animals, and your dream all at once. That is what happened to Mervyn Kelso.

Mervyn was a dairy farmer. He loved his work. Every day, he took care of his cows. The cows made milk. Mervyn sold the milk. This was his life for many years.

Then something sad happened. His cows got sick. The sickness is called bovine TB. It is a disease that kills cows. One by one, all of his cows got sick. Mervyn had to sell his entire herd. The fields became empty. The farm was quiet. Mervyn felt very sad.

For a long time, Mervyn did not know what to do. He had no cows. He had no work. But slowly, he found something new. He started to sing. Mervyn loved music. He took singing lessons. He practiced every day. Singing made him happy again.

Now Mervyn sings in front of people. He performs at shows and events. People listen to his music. They enjoy his voice. Mervyn is still sad about his cows. But he is also happy now. He found a new dream.

His story teaches us something important. Life can be hard and unfair. But we can always find something new to love. We can always start again. Even after losing everything, hope is possible.
