Avalanche kills Pakistan's most famous mountain guide

Mountains are beautiful. But mountains are also dangerous. Sometimes, even the most skilled climbers face terrible accidents.

Recently, an avalanche happened in Pakistan. An avalanche is when snow falls down a mountain very fast. This avalanche killed several mountain guides. These guides were not ordinary workers. They were experts. Many climbers trusted them with their lives.

One guide was especially famous. People called this person a legend. A legend is someone very special and respected. This guide had climbed the biggest mountains many times. Other guides learned from this person. Young climbers wanted to work with this expert.

When these guides died, the mountaineering community felt very sad. A community is a group of people who share the same work or interest. Nepal's climbing guides are a tight community. They know each other. They help each other. Losing so many skilled guides at one time hurt everyone deeply.

Climbing mountains requires special knowledge. Guides teach climbers how to stay safe. They know the mountains well. They understand weather. They know where danger hides. Without good guides, many people cannot climb safely.

This accident reminds us of something important. Mountains do not care how skilled you are. Nature is powerful. Even experts face risks. But guides like these people made climbing possible for thousands of visitors. They gave their lives to help others reach great heights.

Do you think about the guides when you see photos of mountain climbers? Their work is often invisible, but always important.
