Nasa picks new astronauts for Moon missions

Nasa shared good news for space fans. The space agency named new astronauts for the Artemis program. Artemis is a project to send people back to the Moon.

The new astronauts are excited. They will train very hard for future missions. Training takes many months. Astronauts learn about space, science, and rockets. They practice many times.

But these astronauts have something different. They will not walk on the Moon. They will not fly to the Moon. Instead, they will help other astronauts in space. They will do important work in orbit.

The Artemis program is very important. It plans to send astronauts to the Moon soon. The Moon is far from Earth. The trip takes several days. Astronauts need special training for this long journey.

These new team members will support the Moon missions. Every person on a space team has a job. Some people fly to the Moon. Other people stay in space stations. Some people work with robots. All the work is important.

The astronauts are happy to join the program. They want to help people explore space. Space exploration needs many people. It needs engineers, scientists, and pilots. It needs strong teamwork.

Nasa says the future is bright. More people will go to space. More people will learn about our planet. The Moon is just the start. One day, maybe people will go to Mars too.
