900년 만에 런던으로 오는 바이외 태피스트리

Imagine a giant piece of cloth that tells a story. This cloth is almost 1,000 years old. It is called the Bayeux Tapestry. Soon, it will come to London for the first time in 900 years.

The Bayeux Tapestry is very famous. It shows a big battle from the year 1066. The cloth is very long—about 70 meters. Many people worked on it for a long time. Each small stitch tells part of the story.

This tapestry has always stayed in France. Now it will go to the British Museum in London. Leaders from Britain and France will see it first. They will look at it before everyone else can visit.

Why is this important? The tapestry shows history. It shows what happened in 1066. Many people want to see it. Some people have never traveled to France. Now they can see it in their own country. This is exciting for British people.

The tapestry is very old and very fragile. It needs special care. The museum will take good care of it. People will be able to look at it, but they cannot touch it.

Did you know that nobody knows who made this tapestry? It was made long ago. The workers who made it are gone. But their work is still here. That is amazing, right?
