오늘 밤 '딸기달'이 뜬다, 여름이 시작된다

Have you ever heard of a moon with a funny name? Tonight, look up at the sky. You will see the Strawberry Moon.

This moon is not actually red or pink. It is just a normal full moon. So why do people call it a strawberry moon? The answer is simple. This moon appears in late June. This is the time when farmers pick fresh strawberries. Native Americans gave this moon its name many years ago. They watched nature and named the moons by the season.

The Strawberry Moon is very special. It marks the first full moon of summer. Summer officially starts around this time of year. The moon will be brightest early on Tuesday morning. If you wake up early, you can see it clearly. The best time is between midnight and dawn.

You do not need special tools to see this moon. Your eyes are enough. Just find a dark place away from city lights. A park or your garden works well. If clouds cover the sky, do not worry. The moon will still be there tomorrow night.

Many cultures around the world have names for each full moon. Each name tells a story about nature and work. The Strawberry Moon tells us that summer is here. It tells us that fruit is growing and food is ready to pick. Looking at the moon reminds us to notice the seasons.

Will you look for the Strawberry Moon tonight? What will you do when you see it? You could take a photo, or just sit quietly and watch. Maybe you will think about summer and all the wonderful things it brings.
