일본, 먼 친척 남성들의 황실 복귀는 허용했으나 여성 황제는 여전히 금지

Did you know Japan has one of the world's oldest royal families? The imperial family has ruled Japan for over 1,000 years. Recently, Japan made an important change to how the royal family works.

For a long time, Japan had a problem. The royal family did not have enough male heirs. An heir is a person who will lead after someone else. Without young male heirs, the future of the royal family looked uncertain.

So Japan made a new law. The law allows distant male relatives to return to the imperial family. These men must be at least 15 years old. They can now be part of the royal family again. This gives Japan more options for future leaders.

But here is the important part: women still cannot become emperor. Only men can hold this top job. Many people around the world think this is old. They ask: why can't women be emperor? Japan kept this old rule even with the new law.

The change helps Japan solve one problem. More young men can now join the royal family. But many Japanese people want more change. They hope that one day, a woman can also become emperor. For now, the imperial family waits to see how this new rule works.

What do you think? Should a woman be able to become emperor? Or do you think old traditions like this are important to keep?
