1960년대 영국 집, 에어컨 없이 여름 내내 시원하게 유지

Imagine a house that stays cool all summer without using air conditioning. Sounds impossible? One old British home proves it is possible.

This house was built in the 1960s. It uses a special building method called Passivhaus. The name means "passive house" in German. The idea is simple: build a house so well that it needs almost no extra heat or cooling.

How does it work? The house has very thick walls. These walls keep heat out in summer and keep warmth in during winter. The windows are also special. They have extra layers of glass. This stops heat from coming inside.

The air inside the house moves carefully. Fresh air comes in through small openings. Old air leaves through vents. This system keeps the air fresh and cool. No loud air conditioning machines are needed.

Why is this idea becoming popular now? British summers are getting hotter each year. People want to stay cool without spending lots of money on electricity. Passivhaus homes use very little energy. This saves money and helps the planet too.

Many people think you need machines to stay cool. But this house shows a different way. Smart design can do the job. It is slower than air conditioning. But it works all day and all night.

The best part? This 1960s house is still teaching modern builders how to build better homes. If you could visit this house on a hot summer day, would you be surprised by how cool it feels?
