에베레스트 산악 가이드, 초콜릿과 얼음으로 6일 생존

A mountain guide had an amazing story of survival. His name is Dawa Sherpa. He was on Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain. Something went wrong during his climb. He became separated from his group. He was alone on the mountain.

Dawa Sherpa stayed on the mountain for six days. The weather was very cold. The air was very thin. He did not have much food. He did not have much water. What did he eat? He ate chocolate. He also chewed ice for water. Ice melts in your mouth. This gave him liquid to drink. These small things helped him survive.

On the sixth day, workers came to the mountain. They clean the mountain. They remove trash and old equipment. One worker saw Dawa Sherpa. He was moving slowly down the mountain. The worker stopped him. The worker helped him. Other people came and helped too.

Dawa Sherpa was very weak. He could not walk easily. His body was very cold and tired. The workers brought him to a safe place. Then doctors helped him. He went to a hospital. Doctors gave him food and water. They kept him warm. They checked his health.

After some days in the hospital, Dawa Sherpa felt better. He talked to news people. He told them his story. He was very lucky. Many people die on Everest every year. The mountain is very dangerous. Cold, wind, and thin air kill people. But Dawa Sherpa lived. His small piece of chocolate and ice helped him. His strong will helped him too.
