인도 첫 민간 로켓, 성공적으로 발사

Have you ever thought about who launches rockets? For many years, only governments could do this. Today, private companies are changing that—and India is leading the way.

On Saturday, a company called Skyroot Aerospace launched its first rocket, Vikram-1. This is a big day for India. Skyroot is India's first private space company to reach this goal. The rocket took off successfully. Many people watched and celebrated.

Why is this important? For thirty years, India's government controlled all space launches. Private companies were not allowed. Now, India is opening its space industry to new businesses. Skyroot is the first company to take this opportunity. Other companies will follow.

Skyroot is not alone in this race. Many countries have private space companies now. These companies build rockets faster and cheaper than governments. They work with new ideas and new technology. They take risks. Some companies even want to send people to space.

India has big dreams for space. The government wants more launches. It wants more satellites in orbit. It wants to explore the moon and Mars. Private companies can help make these dreams real. They bring energy and innovation.

What does this mean for the future? More launches mean more jobs. More launches mean better science. More launches mean India becomes a space leader. This is only the beginning. The sky is not the limit anymore—space is.

Do you think private companies or governments do better space work? What would you choose to explore first if you could launch a rocket?
