Calvin Harris plays for 1.6 million people at record-breaking concert

Imagine standing in a crowd so large you cannot see the front or the back. This really happened in São Paulo, Brazil. A famous DJ named Calvin Harris performed for 1.6 million people—a new world record.

Calvin Harris is from Scotland. He makes electronic dance music. His real name is Adam Wiles. He has made many popular songs. People love to dance to his music. But this concert was different from other concerts.

The concert happened in an outdoor space in São Paulo. One million six hundred thousand people came. That is more people than the population of many cities. The crowd was so big, it broke a world record. No DJ has ever played for so many people at one time.

Why did so many people come? First, Calvin Harris is very famous. People around the world know his music. Second, the concert was free. Anyone could come and enjoy the music. Third, São Paulo is a very big city with many millions of people living there.

This record shows something interesting. Music brings people together. When we listen to music we love, we feel happy. We want to share that happiness with other people. A crowd of 1.6 million people all stood together and listened to one person play music. They did not know each other, but they shared something special.

Did you know that music can make people feel the same emotions? What kind of music brings people together in your country or your city?
