Record-breaking mountaineer Nirmal Purja dies in Pakistan avalanche

Have you ever heard of someone who climbed the world's 14 tallest mountains in just seven months? One famous mountaineer did this in 2019. His name was Nirmal Purja. Now, sadly, he has died in a mountain accident in Pakistan.

Nirmal was a very special climber. Most mountaineers spend years climbing the world's tallest peaks. But Nirmal climbed all 14 of them in less than seven months. This was a world record. He worked very hard. He never gave up. People around the world watched his amazing journey.

Climbing high mountains is very dangerous. The air is thin. The cold is extreme. Snow and ice can fall. This is called an avalanche. An avalanche can kill people very quickly.

Nirmal died in an avalanche on a mountain in Pakistan. His body was found after the accident. His family and friends are very sad. But people remember him as a brave and strong climber.

Nirmal's story teaches us something important. When we work hard and never give up, we can do amazing things. But we must also remember that nature is very powerful. Mountains are beautiful, but they are also dangerous. We must always be careful.

What would you do if you had Nirmal's courage? Would you try something very difficult, even if it was dangerous?
