Samsung hits record $80bn profit on AI chip demand

Did you know that computer chips are like tiny brains? They are inside your phone, your laptop, and almost every machine you use. Right now, the world needs more and more of these chips. Why? Because of artificial intelligence — AI.

Samsung is one of the biggest tech companies in the world. It makes chips, phones, and many other things. Recently, Samsung made a huge amount of money. The company earned record profits. This means Samsung made more money than ever before in its history.

What helped Samsung make so much money? AI chips. These are special computer chips that help artificial intelligence work. Many big companies around the world need these chips for their AI systems. They buy them from Samsung. This is very good business for Samsung.

But that is not the only reason Samsung did so well. Samsung also makes phones. In August, the company launched new folding phones. These are phones that fold like a book. They are very cool and expensive. Many people want to buy them. So Samsung made extra money from these new phones too.

The story here is simple: the world needs more technology. More people use AI. More people buy new phones. Samsung is ready to give them what they need. This is why the company made record profits. When people need something and one company can supply it, that company becomes very profitable.

Have you used AI? Maybe you used it without knowing. Many apps use AI now. And inside those apps, there is probably a Samsung chip working hard.
